THE PURSUIT OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR CERAMIC ENTREPRENEURS FOCUSING ON DESIGN ACTIVITIES: LAMPANG THAILAND

ABSTRACT

Ceramic competition situation in which small and medium ceramic entrepreneurs in Thailand are various of competition and product model copying. The objective of this paper is to examine the relationship between entrepreneur, Performance, and Product Design capability as a mediation on small and medium ceramic factory Lampang Thailand. This study shows that 185 small and medium ceramic industry firms in Lampang Thailand's entrepreneurial capabilities and product design activities affect the company's sale amount and performance, which consistent with our hypothesis. Entrepreneurial ability is an essential factor in business operations since the Thai ceramic business entrepreneurs generally are still small and medium-sized factories and engage business in a Family business model. Therefore, the ability of business owners such as ceramic business knowledge Relevant work experience Or even the level of design knowledge directly has affected the business. In the same way, transfer knowledge activities and suitable product design activities will be able to create more value and increase the selling price of the product. Furthermore, this study may be of interest to organizations involved in ceramic operations and also encourage government agencies to use them as a way to help small and medium ceramic entrepreneurs in Thailand.
